We have been able to secure reasonable airfares to fly out of Madison, WI! This is a true blessing as we won’t have to leave a day early and have the expense of staying in Chicago overnight, though I will miss having pizza as a group ;-]
As soon as I know the fee for Solid Rock I will know the total cost for the mission.

Entry and Exit Requirements for the DR
After much prayer we have decided to cancel the mission to Ukraine. Many of the original volunteers have had to step back and new travel restrictions have caused concern.
Please keep the Christmas program for the orphans and underprivileged children in your prayers. And consider a financial gift to the Open Door Foundation (Vitaliy’s mission organization) for the program. The donations may be made through Grace Bible Church with a note on the memo line “Ukraine”
The Mission Retreat was a great success, with plenty of food left over :-}
The mission to the Dominican is still on. In fact I have several thousand dollars worth of medicines from Blessings International sitting in our family room waiting to be packed :-}
Unfortunately due to new customs regulations we are unable to count and individually pack the meds before we arrive in country. Please pray that the team is able to complete this once we are there (and still have time to participate in evening activities).
As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

Ukraine- NO vaccinations required.
Dominican Republic- NO vaccinations required.
Both countries require a valid passport but no visa.
And you can’t bring more than $10,000.00 worth of US currency with you ;~]

2. Ukraine Christmas for Orphans- December 3-11, 2021. Join the team and share the facts about the first Christmas and the Gospel with underprivileged and orphaned children in Ukraine. No special training necessary. Total cost, per person, is estimated between $1,800 and $2,000 which includes everything (airfare, food, housing, local transportation). Some sponsorship funds may be available to help individuals with the cost.
3. Dominican Republic- January 21-29, 2022. Our team will run outreach medical clinics, help on construction and repairs and love on our Dominican brothers and sisters. Come share the Gospel. Cost is estimated at around $1,200 per person which includes everything (airfare, food, housing, local transportation).
As of today:
1. You are not required to have had the vaccine to fly
2. Risk level in Ukraine is moderate, no vaccine required
3. Risk level in the DR is considered high, no vaccine required
4. Risk level for the Mission Retreat: absolutely zero ;-}

We will stay at the “Princeton House” owned by one of our team members. Food and beverages are provided but you are welcome to bring your favorite snacks or food.
