Thank You for the fleas

 Listening to a tape of Corrie ten Boom’s testimony in January of 1998 led to me believing in Christ as my Savior.

When Corrie and her sister were moved into different barracks at the Concentration Camp, Corrie was dismayed to find it infested with fleas. However, her sister immediately prayed thanking God for the fleas.

Within several days the prisoners found that the Nazi guards would not enter their barracks because of the fleas. They were then able to hold Bible studies.

Note that her sister thanked God before she realized what they meant.

Dear Father,

Give me the faith to “thank You for the fleas” when I don’t know why.
