Entry and Exit Requirements to Dominican Republic
• Are U.S. citizens permitted to enter? Yes
• Is a negative COVID-19 test (PCR and/or serology) required for entry? No
• COVID-19 rapid tests are performed on randomly selected travelers upon arrival.
• Are health screening procedures in place at airports and other ports of entry? Yes
• Temperature checks may be implemented on arrival or departure by Dominican authorities.
Movement Restrictions:
• Is a curfew in place? Yes
• (Monday-Friday) – Curfew from 6pm to 5am, with a grace period for movement until 9pm each night.
• (Sat-Sun) – Curfew from 6pm to 5am, with a grace period for movement until 9pm.
• The curfew in the Dominican Republic is strictly enforced. U.S. citizens who must travel during curfew hours for international travel may be asked to show their passport, ticket, and travel itinerary to authorities to be allowed to continue to the airport.
• Are there restrictions on intercity or interstate travel? No
Quarantine Information:
• Are U.S. citizens required to quarantine? Yes, if testing positive.
