Updates from the team

With apologies for tardiness, here are the updates I have gotten from the away team over the last couple of days. I will continue to forward them all through this blog, unedited as I receive them, for the duration of the trip. Thank you for your continued prayer support of the team as they minister to the needs of the bodies of those that the Lord has brought to them, so that their spiritual needs may be given an audience.

“The travel team would like to send a huge thank you to our Grace family! Because of your prayers we have been helped at every step of travel so far.

At O’Hare a Delta agent took us in hand and checked in all 9 of us together in less than 10 minutes. And she was very pleasant.
From O’Hare to JFK the flight attendant chatted with the team and was very encouraging.

Now we await boarding on the final leg to the DR. We arrived at our gate and the agent assigned our seats very quickly. We learned that the flight was overbooked but we all had our seats. Thank You Lord.

Then the agent told us that even though we are all in different zones for boarding he wants us to all come together and board with Zone 1.

We can feel God’s hand in every step so far. Thank you for your support and please continue to pray!!" -Roxanne

“We had a wonderful trip down and are settled in the Fiesta hotel in Santo Domingo.

Lots of “God moments” to share tomorrow.” -Roxanne

Sunday, January 21

“We’re off to San Juan de la Maguana after a wonderful breakfast.

The drive should be about 3 and a half to 4 hours, weather roads permitting.

Yet another blessings: Dr Daryl from Indiana is with us!!! At the last minute one of the original Indiana folks couldn’t go and the Lord arranged for Daryl (family practitioner) to come. So we will have 2 American docs and we have hired a Dominican doc.

Not to rub it in but it is sunny and about 72...” -Roxanne
