Final preparations

As we are quickly approaching January and our upcoming mission trip, we pause and reflect on all that God has done for our team this past year.  We have each grown and our team has grown to include non-traveling members who serve as prayer warriors, public relations, and packing geniuses.  Our church body has embraced us and helped us raise the supplies and medications requested plus financial and prayer support. 

On Dec 10th and 17th, our team counted, packaged, labeled, sorted, packed and weighed our supplies and medicines to ensure we could take the most necessary items first then squeezing in the wish list items.  As we went through this process my heart was in awe of the amazing way God answers our prayers and sees to the tiniest details to ensure that His plan and will is done.  

Dates to remember:

 *January 14 - our team will be our team commissioning during the morning service at Grace Bible Church

*January 18- we meet at Grace Bible Church at 8am to pack the bus and head to Chicago

*January 19-27 we will be in the Dominican Republic

*January 28 - wee early in the morning we are back in Portage Wisconsin

Things to remember:

* PRAYER

*BIBLES and journals
*PASSPORTS
*Read Called and really think about the questions in it

*Answer the questions-

       *What excites you the most for this?

       *What are you looking forward to?

       *What are you afraid of?

       *What has you worried?

*Make sure your medications are in your carry on bag and that you double check the most updated TSA guidelines before packing

* Immunizations are up to date
