Time

 From “The Green Letters”:

...our spiritual life is the basis of the beginning and growth of our service to God...in the long run it is what we are, and not simply what we do or say, the matters with God.

We are not saved to serve, we are matured to serve.  (P 69 emphasis added)

    Perhaps God is using this pandemic for at least one thing: For us to slow down our “doing” and pick up our spiritual growth. Though I am very disappointed that we will not travel to the DR next year, I am grateful for the extra time to prepare my heart for serving.

    And to do that, for spiritual growth, I need time: time in prayer, time studying God’s word and time in fellowship with my brothers and sisters in Christ.

    And time is just what God has given us!
