Preparation of Our Hearts

This morning I studied about what will please God and the following passages stood out to me as I continue my preparation for the travel portion of our mission. I admit that I have been very caught up in the doing of things and not of preparation of my heart.

Please spend time quietly today listening to what God wants to do through you.

Micah 6:8 

"He has shown you, O man, what is good;

And what does the LORD require of you

But to do justly,

To love mercy,

And to walk humbly with your God?"

Psalm 51:17

"The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit,

A broken and a contrite heart—

These, O God, You will not despise."

Hosea 6:6

"For I desire mercy and not sacrifice,

And the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings."
