Wednesday began a very eventful day at least for Jesse and I when we missed the bus. Thankfully Dan was able to take us to the barrios. We saw many patients today in the very hot Dominican sun. Countless number of kids all with beautiful eyes and hearts.

We spent the evening visiting a school in el cercto. The kids poured out after us shouting, "Americanos!" We were also able to go visit a dairy farm of a man who moved down here 40 years ago after being a missionary here. It was a piece of home for a lot of us on the trip that had grown up on a dairy farm. We went over to a local pastors house for dinner and enjoyed a feast prepared by his family. It was wonderful to share in the local food and praise God even with a language barrier.

Hard to believe we only have a few days left here. Feels like we have only just begun.
